how do you tie yours

maybe slightly late with this, but it made me smile anyway.

a top, a skirt, or necktie or  a headscarf, how will you style yours?

i must confess to trying the neck-tie option lately with an old polka dot bandana i found about, i think it looks great with my grey sweatshirt.

its probably only our dear queen that can carry off the tied under the chin style!

i found this lovely  collection of photographs of her wearing head scarves, her no one accessory of choice at vanity fair on line the queen

actually, i maybe wrong as audrey and brigitte can also carry off the look pretty well.

i also like a jaunty bad hair day, hair band option, this always works well on the beach.

if it works for kylie and rhianna, then it works for me.

another fan of the head scarf, amy winehouse.

and lets not forget the boys, harry styles has a pretty impressive collection of scarves.

but i am a particular fan of the neck tie option, dont know why but think its cool and modern, and think its very french, why is that?

definately works best when not teamed with a beret.

i really like the way nili lotan has styled the spring summer 16 look book with them,  this is a link to all the images on  so take a look if you want to see more nili lotan

when looking for imagery, i stumbled across these two ladies, and just thought how great they looked, so am also including their top knotted almost turban twist options.
